An Autumn Chat about Prayer

Several months ago, the Lord began to lay it on my heart to start sharing the thoughts He gives me in video form on our rarely used Homespun Ministries channel. Today, I uploaded a video that corresponds with this recent blog post on prayer, and I wanted to share it with anyone who may be interested in watching.

Lord willing, in addition to sharing the video chats, I will, as usual, still be writing here, as the Lord leads. It is absolutely impossible to believe I celebrated my 14th anniversary of blogging on October 1st! Time flies by so fast, and oh, how life has changed since the day I published that first post on October 1, 2011! I am so thankful to the Lord for sparing my family's and my lives to this point, and I pray He continues to do that and allows me to blog here for many more years to come, in Jesus' name.

I am also continuing to upload the readings from the book chapters of Biblical Minimalism as I have time and energy. Chapters one through nine are already uploaded, and I am working on chapter 10.

In case anyone missed this post, please pray for my dear friend, Marilyn's husband, Dan. He recently suffered a very serious heart attack and is unable to work. Linda Primmer at Life and Linda has graciously started a GoFundMe for Dan and Marilyn. They are currently at 83% of the fundraising goal. If you would kindly and prayerfully consider helping them during this difficult time, every donation is deeply appreciated.

I so appreciate all of you and your kindness for continuing to follow along with me here. May the Lord richly bless all of you, dear readers, and meet your every need.

  1. God bless you dearest sis, in lifting your Sennacherib list, we press on the upward way new heights we are gaining day by day!

May we view our list with our God's eternal eyes, and see the length, depth and breadth of how our great Father God is working in it.

Too often we walk in limited, finite ways upon this earth. Yet our Jesus saw with eternal eyes when He walked upon the earth, and indeed in John 17 in His intercession for us, we see clearly how He saw with an eternal vision.
    Lord's richest blessing sis.
Prayer hugs, Shaz in Oz.x 🙏🏻🤗

    1. Dear Kitty, I am so thankful this ministered to you. Yes! I surely get discouraged sometimes, too, and I completely understand. I want you to know I am praying for you and for Mike and am so sorry to hear this. I know how hard you pray and the concern you carry, dear friend. Jesus knows, too. He sees you. He hears you. He feels what you feel. Thank you so much for your kind words. You will never know how much it means to me that you faithfully, consistently pray for my family and me. I love and appreciate you.
