PLEASE PRAY for Three-year Old Dallas Wilson!

"The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much."

James 5:16

I come to you today with an urgent prayer request for a precious little 3-year old named Dallas Wilson.

On January 27, he accidentally pulled a coat rack down on his head and ended up with a fractured skull and two brain bleeds.  He was transported to a hospital out of state where they were able to perform surgery and get the brain bleeding stopped.

This morning, 2/1, I was sent this update from family member, Katie:

"His MRI shows damage to his brainstem, where both lobes connect, and a few other small areas of damage. They are most concerned about his brainstem. It is what controls your eyes, coughing, gagging, and a few other things. But God has already shown us that full recovery is possible because Dallas can cough, gag, and move his eyes a bit and his eyebrows. He has also been moving his legs and arms upon request. He even squeezed their hands! He has been in and out of it, and they have had him sedated most of the time. Today his momma, Ami, said it was a big day. They will be doing other tests with him to see more about his recovery. He is such a fiery little thing, and I know he is so strong. He has been fighting hard to recover, and we can all see it and are proud of him. He is just the most precious thing.

God has worked so many miracles with this child already. It's insane all that He can do with such an injury as his. They did brain surgery the first night he was there and his skull is fractured from ear to ear. The doctors thought it was a miracle that he is alive. He is God's miracle and he continues to show us all how amazing he is and how amazing God is.

His momma and daddy, Darren and Ami, are just heart-broken as you can imagine. But they are tough, and they are hanging in there."

Little Dallas will be four years old in April.  You can just imagine how you would feel if this were your own child, grandchild, or family member.  I can only imagine what Darren, Ami, and the rest of the family are going through.  Please pray!

If anyone would like to help with this family's expenses during this difficult time, please visit their gofundme site HERE, where you can donate and check for updates.

PLEASE SHARE THIS PRAYER REQUEST WITH YOUR PRAYER GROUPS.

May God lay His healing hand on little Dallas and do exceeding abundantly above all we can ask or think in his healing process and restore him completely to perfect physical and mental health, in Jesus' name.

Thank you all for praying and sharing this request with other prayer warriors!

  1. Praying...Heavenly Father, we ask You to wrap Your Loving Arms around Darren, Ami, and precious little Dallas, giving them a continual awareness of Your Healing Presence and Your Peace. We come to You believing that All things are Possible with You. We are bringing little Dallas to You acknowledging that his body belongs to You. You know every cell in his body, and You know how to fix it. We pray for complete healing. Even though we know You use doctors and their expertise, we know You alone are the Great Physician. You are Jehovah Jireh, the One who can meet this need. You are Jehovah Rapha, the One who heals all our diseases. You are El Shaddai, Almighty God nothing is too difficult for You. You are Emmanuel, God with us. You will never leave us or forsake us. We know You never make a mistake, that You do all things perfectly, and You are always on Time. As in all things, we ask that Your Will be done, and no matter what, we will keep looking to You as our Savior and our Lord. In Jesus' name we pray, amen

  5. Hello my dear Cheryl. I'm sorry I'm so late in commenting. I did read this earlier this morning while I was picking up my grocery order at Walmart and I HAVE been praying for sweet little Dallas and his family all day when the Lord brought him to my mind, which was often. I have been on the phone much of the day and not online to write to you. I will continue lifting this little child of the LORD before His throne throughout the night tonight and until I hear from you again.
Wishing you God's blessings and comfort.
    Betsy

  8. Oh I pray right now for little Dallas. May the great physician bring him total healing and show Himself in a mighty way. Praying that his parents are given peace that will surpass any understanding and that they will rest in knowing that God is on the throne and loves their little Dallas more than they could ever imagine. This is heartbreaking to read Cheryl and at the same time, praiseworthy to already see how God is moving. We are on day 14 going through a trial with friends from church that their 17 healthy, athletic son's heart stopped beating while playing tennis. It has been quite an ordeal. But we are seeing God move in mighty ways and I am expecting this for little Dallas. Hugs and blessings to you dear lady. Cindy
