Abiding in Him: A Life Together in Ministry ~ New Book by Barry and Bettie Gilbert & GIVEAWAY!

On March 22, 2018, I published an "Inner Views" interview on this blog with the following words,

"In this amazing and wonderful world of blogging, I often forget exactly how I came across another blogger and how God orchestrated the details to weave their presence into my life. I usually only remember how dear they have become to my heart over the past several years, and I praise God for allowing our paths to cross and for the encouragement they are to me. Such is the case with the precious woman of God I am interviewing today. Her beautiful blog is chock full of Godly wisdom, profound Biblical teaching, and deep spiritual insight. Her physical suffering continually produces the fruit of Godliness in her life, and the sweet-smelling fragrance of its effects pours out to bless every other life she touches. I am so honored and blessed to call her friend and to share her inner views with you here."

Over the nearly five years since that interview, Bettie and I have remained friends, and she has continued to encourage me and bless my life. We have prayed for one another, participated in online Bible studies together, and supported one another through our ongoing emails. When she and her husband, Barry, shared their story and testimony on her blog, it was such a blessing to me, and when that sharing turned into a book, I couldn't wait to get behind it and share it, too!

The book is now finished, and Bettie has so kindly provided a copy for me to give away to one of our blessed readers!

To enter the giveaway, just leave me a comment below.

If you are an anonymous commenter, we have no way to contact you, so you will not be entered in the giveaway unless you state your name and contact information in the comment. Please make sure you include a way for us to get in touch with you!

Due to shipping costs, the giveaway is only open to readers who live in the US.

The giveaway will be open to enter until sometime Sunday, December 11th, when we will draw the winner's name.

God bless each one of you and keep you always in His care.

    1. Aw, that is so sweet, Jeanne! It is so good to reflect on all the wonderful things and people God has brought into our lives. Yes, He surely does have a way of connecting our hearts. It reminds me of Romans 5:5, "the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us." The precious Holy Spirit sheds God's love abroad in our hearts and draws us to one another in the fellowship of Christ. So beautiful how the body of Christ operates! I'm so thankful you found us, too, and so appreciate your sweet visit and kind words!
