Update on Brian 6/26/2020

"Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me."
Psalm 23:4

Brian's condition worsened overnight, and he is now running a fever.  His heart was working at 25% capacity yesterday, and now it is even less.  They have determined that he did have a heart attack, and this is why he collapsed on the concrete.  They had to shock his heart four times when he first came in to the hospital to get it to beat again.  In the fall, he broke both jaws, so if he can feel pain, I can only imagine how much pain he is in.  My sister said, at times it seems like he is in pain because of his facial expressions.  Other times, there is no reaction.  The critical care team assembled this morning and were wanting to know when Sharon will be there, so it sounds like things are reaching the point we were hoping they would never reach.

Of course, I am still holding out hope for a miracle, but I do not believe, at this point, that is God's will in this situation.  NOT that I in ANY way know the mind of God, but that is what I am sensing when I pray.

This song is on my mind and comforting me this morning, and the video pretty much says it all.  Sometimes, we don't get the answers we want and are praying for.
